About this ISO 27555 record
A free, clause-level reading of ISO/IEC DIS 27555, the draft second edition of the guidance on personally identifiable information deletion, with a paid work product and a change watch.
Who it is for
The CISO who has to approve a policy update, the ISMS manager who owns the deletion procedure, and the consultant who reviews it for a client. Each needs a clause level position, a date and the evidence an auditor will ask for, without a claim the draft cannot support.
Who writes it
Gerard Blokdyk, The Art of Service. The work is a reading of the official ISO record and the public samples of the draft and the 2021 edition. It is not an official publication and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by ISO or IEC.
Why it exists
Revision material for this family is scattered across a standard record, a free preview and several national samples. A team can spend a day assembling the stage, the contents, the terms and the changes before it starts the actual work. This record does that assembly once, states the evidence level, and turns it into a check and a kit.
Contact
Email support@theartofservice.com. For a purchase, the Stripe receipt carries the invoice and the cancellation route. For a correction, include the page and the source; corrections that the held material supports are made and the change date moves.
The limits, in one place
Not legal advice. Not a certification. Not the licensed text. The planning date is an estimate from the ISO stage. The text of clauses 4 to 10 is not in the public sample, and the pages say so. See the method and the sources.
