How this ISO 27555 record is built

One reviewed record drives every page, the free check, the kit and the watch. The record is built from the official ISO record and the public samples, and every clause states its evidence level.

The order of work

  1. Read the ISO record and the free preview: designation, edition, stage, dates, page count, committee, ICS, contents, foreword, introduction, clauses 1 and 2, terms and bibliography.
  2. Read the public samples: the national adoption of the DIS and the 2021 edition. Record what each one carries and where it stops.
  3. Write one record with a source pointer on every field. Where the text is silent, the field says so. Where the public sample has no text, the clause is marked title coverage.
  4. Write every requirement and evidence line in our own words, then test the text against the held sources with a seven word overlap check. Only clause titles and defined terms stay as the draft has them.
  5. Render the pages, the check, the kit and the watch from that one record, and re-run the record check on a schedule.

The evidence levels

  • Full public text. The clause is in the free OBP preview and the page states it in our words.
  • Public text to 5.5. The clause is held from a public sample, but the sample stops inside it. The page states the held part and marks the rest.
  • Title coverage. The public sample does not carry the text. The page states the purpose, the work and the evidence, and never invents the requirement.

What the record never does

It never quotes the licensed text, never presents the draft as the published standard, never calls itself legal advice or a certification, and never fills a gap in the public sample with a guess. It does not set a retention period, choose a deletion tool or de-identify a data set, because those sit outside the draft's scope and outside this product. Where a question cannot be answered from the held material, the page says so and names the gap.

The refresh and the watch

The refresh script re-reads the ISO record and the public sample, compares them with the record and fails loudly on a change. The watch sends that diff to subscribers. The record's change date is the date on every visible stamp, the schema and the sitemap.
