When will ISO 27555 be published?
The ISO record shows no publication date. It stands at stage 40.60, close of voting, on 22 August 2026. This record plans to 16 September 2027 as an estimate, about fifteen months after the ballot closed. The next visible checkpoints are 40.92 or 40.93, 40.99, 50.00 and 60.60.

The dates ISO has recorded
The project was approved on 26 September 2025, the committee draft was approved for registration as a DIS the same day, the DIS was registered on 26 March 2026, the ballot opened on 29 May 2026 and voting closed on 22 August 2026. Those are facts from the ISO life cycle.
The dates ISO has not recorded
Stages 40.92 and 40.93 cover a referral back to the committee or a decision for a new DIS ballot. Stage 40.99 covers approval for registration as an FDIS. Stage 50.00 is the final text or the FDIS registration, 50.20 an eight week ballot if one is used, 50.60 the close of that ballot, and 60.60 publication. None of those dates appears on the record yet.
Why the estimate is fifteen months
A DIS that is approved without a second ballot still needs editorial work, translation and publication. A referral back or an FDIS ballot adds months. Fifteen months after the close of the DIS ballot is a planning assumption that leaves room for one extra ballot without pretending to know the outcome.
How to use the date
Put it in the plan as a checkpoint, not a deadline. The record shows it as an estimate on every page, and the watch emails when the stage or a date moves. If ISO publishes a date, replace the estimate.
